A couple of weeks ago we posted a competition on our Facebook page asking for your help in picking a new lip balm flavour, (i’ll talk about this in more detail in a little bit) we have so far had a great response, and also, a great subsequent outcome (as is so often the way with social media, one of the many reasons why I love it). One of our lovely customers asked if were going to be exhibiting at the very first Handmade Fair, which is being organised by Kirstie Allsopp.

I hadn’t heard of it, so decided to do a bit of research. A quick Google later, I sent an email off to the organisers to see if they were still accepting applications, as although the fair isn’t until September you often have to get a foot in the door nice and early. I didn’t have to wait long for a reply, and they said they would love to have us take a stall in their “Shopping Village”. We all had a chat about it here at the office, and decided it was a great opportunity and signed up there and then!

So what is it all about? You can find full details on their website www.thehandmadefair.com but essentially it is a 3 day event at Hampton Court Palace (19th-21st Sep) celebrating all things crafty! There will be workshops going on throughout the day, expert speakers, artisan food stalls, and of course, people like us in the shopping marquees!

Keep your eyes peeled in the coming months as we will be running a competition to win 2 free tickets!
